The Forbes Five: Hip-Hop's Wealthiest Artists 2012
Today Forbes officially announced the five wealthiest Hip-Hop moguls in the supremely, exclusive group known as The Forbes Five.
Sean Combs reigned the wealthiest as #1 on the list with a said $550 Million due to his investments in companies such as Ciroc, Sean John clothing, Enyce clothing, a marketing firm Blue Flame, a record label Bad Boy Records, numerous tech startups and cable channel Revolt.
Shawn Carter came in at #2 with $460 Million. Jay-Z's fortune earned from his stakes in his Rocawear clothing label, a 10-year $150 Million Live Nation deal, his partial ownership of the NJ Nets, his 40/40 Club chain & ad firm Translation amongst other businesses.
#3. Andre “Dr. Dre” Young – $270 Million#4. Bryan “Birdman” Williams – $125 Million
#5. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson -$100 Million
