The Boss of the Maybach Music Empire, Rick Ross @rickyrozay has been strategically taking over the Hip Hop world for quite some time now.  This time he's doing it with a new video Directed by Dre Films @DREfilms.  The Beat Billionaire Produced track, "Swear To God" is now the 5th visual to drop off of Rozay's new tape, Rich Forever.  The first four & a half minutes feature the boss solo, alongside an old school red convertible with a white tee & some of his coldest jewels on.  The last minute & a half of the video features a preview for his new collaborative project with Stalley @Stalley, "Party Heart", coming soon.

The Vietnamese & Jamaican, Compton born rapper Tyga @Tyga is back with a new visual explosion for his single "Faded" featuring Lil' Wayne @LilTunechi.  "Faded" was pulled from his recently released album Careless World: Rise of the Last King (2.21.12).

Although the video has not yet been officially released to the internet world, it is official & has been captured on MTV's Jams Of The Week.

Nas is back!  It's been almost a year since Nas @Nas hit the streets last summer with "Nasty", the first single off the new album, Life Is Good, which is tentatively titled & coming soon but Nas is indeed back & bossed up with his 2nd single.

Funkmaster Flex @funkmasterflex exclusively dropped the new track today like a bomb which has exploded all over the internet world!  "The Don" is a heavily Caribbean inspired song in which Escobar pays homage to the late Heavy D who shares production credits on the track alongside Salaam Remi & Da Internz.

Reebok has definitely been striving to make a comeback & since Swizz Beatz @THEREALSWIZZZ signed on to be the face of the sneaker company it seems they've been doing just that.

Last year Swizz teamed up with Rick Ross @rickyrozay to promote the 'Reebok Back' campaign so it came as no surprise yesterday (March 14th) when it was officially announced that the Boss had signed an endorsement deal with Reebok Classics.  

The Teflon Don is "Building the Brand", an empire.

Rozay took to his tumblr to release a video via YouTube promoting his new creative endeavor, "Reebok Back" featuring both Swizz Beatz & Meek Mill @MeekMill.

The boss & his MMG crew then officially announced the good news via Twitter.  Congratulations Rozay!!

(This is a long overdue post & to those concerned I apologize for my tardiness in writing this.)

On Saturday, January 7th, 2012 the Empire State Building was Blue & into the night came a beautiful baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter - The highly anticipated Carter heir to the Throne. 

With tweets from Blue's Auntie Solange & family friends including Gwyneth Paltrow & Rihanna we excitedly & emotionally welcomed Blue & happily congratulated Jay & Bey.

Then only a couple days later on the 9th, Beyonce & J released not only a joint statement on the birth of their daughter but Jay also released a new song featuring Blue's newborn cries titled "Glory" which he featured on his website Life + Times.

About a month later on February, 10th Beyonce & Jay both posted links to a tumblr called Hello Blue Ivy Carter which contained the very first pics of their beautiful daughter accompanied by a hand written note welcoming the world to share in their joy, signed "The Carters".  

The Carter's truly are the epitome of class.

Nowadays Blue can be seen hanging out in NYC tucked into her Baby Bjorn, feet loose with the Roc swag!

"Amex Sync Show Presenting Jay-Z"

Last night (Monday, March 12th, 2012) Jay-Z performed his first ever solo performance for #SXSW at the Austin City Limits Moody Theater.  The performance officially titled "Amex Sync Show Presenting Jay-Z" was a hard to follow opening for the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas.
Fans all over the world took part in the show via its livestream combined with a new Twitter ambition for AMEX cardholders.  Fans tweeted song requests which Jay played.
Hov opened the show shortly before 8PM with "What More Can I Say" & played a passionate array of songs along a timeline including: "Public Service Announcement", "99 Problems", "Encore" & "Glory" an ode to his newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

23 Year Old Rihanna's (@Rihanna) been catching everyone's eyes with her recent Twitpicathons while on vacation in Hawaii; bikinis, thongs, snorkeling & pot smoking.  But it's her tattoo parlor Twitpic Tweets that mad our jaws drop earlier this morning!  The "We Found Love" singer is back in LA with some new ink, one of which is a Tupac inspired "Thug Life" tattoo across her knuckles in a very light shade of white. LL COOL J To Host The 2012 Grammys

On February 12, 2012 the 54th Annual Grammy Awards will have a host for the first time in 7 years! Not since 2004 has there been an "Official" Host for the Grammys but this year iconic, music legend LL Cool J will be changing all of that.
The rapper & star of CBS "NCIS: Los Angeles" has been hosting the annual CBS special "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live! Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" since 2008 therefor Grammy hosting is nothing new for LL.
